 CANCELLATION FOR SHORT TERM

  • If you need to cancel your reservation and wish to receive a full refund, you must do so within 72 hours of booking. You must contact us directly to process the cancellation. A refund will be issued minus credit card processing fees (Stripe), which are non-refundable.

  • If the cancellation is made after 72 hours, no refund will be issued. However, a credit note will be provided for a future stay.

 CANCELLATION FOR MID & LONG TERM STAYS 

 

  • We understand that corporate housing needs can change. To accommodate this, we offer a flexible cancellation policy for long-term stays:

1️⃣ Cancellation before check-in:

  • If the reservation is canceled at least 14 days before arrival, the amount paid will be refunded, except for credit card processing fees (Stripe), which are non-refundable.

  • If the cancellation is made less than 14 days before arrival, a penalty equivalent to one week’s stay will be charged.

2️⃣ Early departure after check-in:

  • If the guest decides to shorten their stay, a minimum of 15 nights will be charged. If the stay exceeds 15 nights, unused nights beyond this period will be refunded, minus Stripe processing fees.

  • Early departures must be notified at least 7 days in advance to qualify for a partial refund.

3️⃣ No-show policy:

  • If the guest does not check in on the arrival date and has not canceled in advance, 100% of the first month’s stay will be charged.

⚠ Important: Credit card processing fees (Stripe) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

We hope this policy provides greater flexibility for corporate stays while ensuring the availability of our units.

Force Majeure :In the event of unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.), special cancellation conditions may apply. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.

 SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit of $1,000 CAD (or its equivalent in euros or USD) is required upon arrival. This deposit covers potential damages, theft, cleanliness issues, smoking odors, late departures, lost keys, or other incidents.

The deposit will be refunded within 5 business days after check-out, following a thorough inspection of the apartment. If any issues are found, a partial or full deduction may apply, and a detailed statement will be provided.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES


Check-in: Between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. For arrivals after 7:00 PM, please contact us in advance to arrange your arrival. Early check-ins are possible only upon request and based on availability.


Check-out: By 11:00 AM.


Late departures (between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM) will incur an additional fee of $50 CAD + taxes. Any departure after 2:00 PM will be charged as an additional night's stay.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible Use: The apartment must be used solely for temporary residential purposes. Parties, commercial, professional, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

  • Maximum Occupancy: Two adults may occupy the unit. Additional charges will apply if the number of occupants exceeds what was initially stated in the reservation.

  • Cleanliness and Condition: The apartment and its contents must be left in good condition upon departure. Any issues must be reported immediately.

  • Noise Levels: Excessive noise, particularly after 8:00 PM, is not permitted.

  • Smoking Policy: The property is 100% smoke-free, including balconies and outdoor areas. Any evidence of smoking, such as cigarette odors, ashes, or butts in trash bins, will result in a deduction from the security deposit to cover cleaning and odor removal costs.

  • Shoes: High heels or hard-soled shoes are not allowed to protect the floors.

  • Guests: You are responsible for the behavior of your guests. Excessive gatherings and frequent comings and goings are not permitted.

  • Emergency Exits: Emergency exits may only be used in actual emergencies. Misuse of emergency exits will result in additional charges and possibly a fine.

PET POLICY

Pets are not allowed in our apartments unless prior written approval has been obtained. Additional cleaning fees may apply if a pet is admitted.

INSURANCE
Guests are responsible for obtaining personal insurance to cover their belongings and liability during their stay. LOFTS JC is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items.

KEY LOSS
In the event of a lost key set, a replacement fee of $100 CAD + taxes will be deducted from the security deposit.

PENALTIES
Failure to comply with these rules may result in:

  • Partial or full forfeiture of the security deposit.

  • Immediate eviction.
